FCS Championship game

I regularily hear of people who want a full blown playoff for FBS. If the FCS championship game was on New Years Day with the other big bowl games wouldn't that promote the merits of a real championship?

Maybe, but it would struggle to draw viewers. The NCAA has to manage their financial concerns, so I don't think it would make sense to that. I like the FCS championship being a standalone event.
