FCS National Rankings Week Six

Who is in charge of these pools at NCAA.com? Their latest poll has Weber State with three votes. This poll has NAU receiving 12 votes. :yikes: How can a NAU team that is 2-4 be receiving more votes than the 3-2 wildcats? We lost a double OT game to USD that has 43 votes. You really have to wonder about these polls... :wtf:

Until Weber can consistently win year after year the polls are gonna be very skeptical of us. If we win against the Bobcats on Saturday and pull off a win in Cedar the next week we may sneak into the top 25. However it may take a win over MSU, SUU and UND to get us in at this point.

Besides, we haven't really been destroying our opponents. And they haven't been the strongest of opponents. The games our defense shows up to play (Sac, PSU) our offense doesn't, and in the games our offense shows up (USD,UCD) our defense does not. Im glad that we have won three in a row with a good chance at 4 in a row, but Weber still needs to prove that they are top 25 worthy.

We may be 3-2 but our wins haven't been impressive, nor have they been over good teams. We have beaten the bottom of the Big Sky. Games we should win. Portland State is better than advertised and will beat some teams, but still the Vikings are not the Vikings of 2015. Weber needs to be consistent on both sides of the ball. If they do that finally, they might win a game in dominate fashion. If they beat up the Bobcats this weekend that should move them up in the polls more, but still the Bobcats are 0-3 in conference and at the bottom of the Sky rankings. The Cats should win this weekend. It will be a hard fought game and one that will try the Wildcats but one, if Weber is legitimately a conference contender, should win.
