Let's enjoy what's left of the season... Wouldn't surprise me to incorrect on all counts.

Fri 12.10 7:00.PM.ET
Montana 36% @ James Madison 64% -- Friday night game, short week of travel. The insufferable Griz are underdogs. JMU has special teams and is moving up to the FBS. Fully expect them to win this game. Wouldn't surprise me if JMU gets two picks and a couple of fumbles. 38 - 17

Sat 12.11 12:00.PM.ET
ETSU 3% @ N Dakota St 97% -- Massey's rating sounds about right. ETSU has a 3% chance to win this one. Anyone picking the upset? Stranger things have happened but not in this one 42-10

Sat 12.11 2:00.PM.ET
S Dakota St 74% @ Villanova 26% -- I didn't understand how Villanova got a seed and despite home field, they are the underdogs in this one. Coast to coast isn't easy on SDST, let alone players who likely have finals. This one could be a lot closer than it should be. Coin flip game IMO. Going to go with SDST but it's more uphill than the prognosticators have it. 34-31

Sat 12.11 8:30.PM.ET
Montana St 37% @ Sam Houston St 63% -- Odds schmodds...Kats haven't played that well the last two games. Can their coaches find the groove again? I thought MSU had a very good group of DB's and enough talent upfront to contain the run. SHSU will be a challenge but I can see them being overconfident. I don't read minds but the smug coming out of Huntsville is palpable. Would love to see the Kats put a whooping on the other Kats team. Guess it's a Kat fight. If MSU plays defense and takes advantage of short fields and TO's, they will win this game on the road. Go Kats! 27 - 24

Obviously missed that the QB for MSU is transferring... Weird. They don't stand a ghosts chance in hell of winning against SHSU unless the defense has an all world performance.

Yeah he quit last week Thurs. but MSU has 3 descent qb's and still won 26-7 vs TN_Martin last Sat. but Sam Houston was in a game vs Incarnate Word. I think they have a chance and I'll be rooting for them. Montana is +7.5 dogs vs JMU, MSU +7 dogs vs SHSU, NDSU are -26 pt fav vs ETSU and SDSU -7 fav vs Vill

Good point on MSU, well made..

Well griz go down literally. Lost best WR and QB early and haven't scored a td yet...3 min left 28-6 JMU.

Shocking and quite an indictment to have given up 57 to Montana. A decent defense can just dominate them. They got exposed as far too soft to compete against James Madison.

Based on how the Big Sky has looked so far, it’s safe to say we all benefitted from playing against bad bunch. Hell, our conference champ got blown out at home by UNI.

NDSU wearing them down and keeping the #1 RB from ETSU in check.
*we can hang with any of these teams and woulda scored on JMU at lest 3-4 td's.

Yeah... I was trying not to think it, but Eag's could beat any of these teams when they're not busy beating themselves..

Holy Cow!! Kats annihilate the Kats in Huntsville. 42 - 19

Did not watch the game, 3 INT's of the SHSU QB. I believed the MSU Db's were the best Eastern saw this season and SHSU hadn't seen a good defense all year. Gotta say congratulations to the Bobcats on a big win.

Hate living vicariously through MSU, but wish them the best the remainder of the run. It's obvious that people out of the NDSU coaching tree can actually excel at this level.

Great 8 min hightlight. Gotta say, really enjoyed the int's. MSU had SHSU offense befuddled.

The Bobcats represented the BSC well and I wish them luck against SDSU.

In contrast, UM was an embarrassment for the BSC. Honestly, I don't remember a BSC team in the quarter finals getting shit-stomped as bad as Montana did by JMU.

Semi finals:

JMU @ NDSU Friday evening -- Short week for JMU to travel. These teams know each other, so not sure this should be an issue. This one, even in North Dakota, feels like a coin flip. The vaunted NDSU fan base has stayed home this post season, so the FargoDome won't be rocking like it has in the past. Massey has NDSU as a nearly 70% favorite. ESPN continued to sell the NDSU brand hard this weekend against ETSU.... "they've got two full DL..." "it's biZon... because something something" and on and on. I don't care what the shysters at ESPN think. A bit of an uphill battle but both teams are at the top of the defensive stats and JMU's offense is better. I like JMU in this one because they are #1 in TO margin which is a great way to negate home field advantage.

SDST @ MSU Saturday -- If MSU shows up this week, they will likely land in the Championship game. Who'd a thunk it? On paper these look like equal teams but Massey has SDST as a better than 60% to win this game.. Shit is ESPN running Massey? Kats take down a tired SDST. Three weeks on the road have got to take their toll.

I think I'm excited to see the Bobcats take down SDST today.... If they bring the same focus as last week the outcome will put MSU in the Natty...

Game is on ESPN2.

Anybody watch this game last night? My conclusions are, I don't think the Eagles could have played with either of these teams, and IF the 'cats win today NDSU will again feast on the Big Sky. NDSU got lucky with the interception in the end zone of JMU would have won and the NDSU coach tried to help them out with his play calling in the last series. Everyone in the stadium and TV audience (except my wife) knew they were going to run between the tackles 3x in a row and gave the ball back to JMU. Wouldn't it have been a perfect time to do almost any different play and at least get 1 first down?
What am I missing? Your thoughts... opinions?

watched it...lost money on it.
JMU got REALLY SCREWED.

what was this garbage with the clock?

play clock reset to 40 at 2:55 on game clock

but play clock doesn’t start ticking until 2:27 on the game clock

cost JMU 28 seconds in a one-score game for a FCS Championship shot that ended with JMU on the NDSU 45-yard line as time expired

Did you take issue with NDSU getting screwed out of an opportunity for a 2 point conversion earlier in the game due to the play clock not being reset?

I didn't see it that way. The clock wound at the right time. In fact, NDSU sat in their huddle for about 15 seconds, even going so far as pointing to the clock instead of breaking the huddle and running the play. My hunch is they didn't have the right personnel on the field and tried to press the refs to reset the clock after their substitutions were made knowing the choices were take a timeout or the penalty. In the end, it didn't matter. They were the better team and probably deserved to win.
