FCS Rankings are THE BIGGEST JOKE EVER

They actually have a 2 win team in montana state listed in Others Recieving Votes with 27 votes and unspeakably AHEAD of Northern Arizona who HAS BEATEN THEM HEAD TO HEAD AT MSU HOME FIELD. Northern Arizona also has more overall wins (4-4) then msu. Plus NAU just had a real nice win over U. Of Montana this past saturday. What a joke. I guess the voters really don't do there work they just vote off name recognition or something. Shameful

Unfortunately there is some truth to what you are saying and that doesn't reflect well on the voters overall. I'm very sure there are some voters who do exactly what you say, they just go by name and not on the facts.

Brad, I think, is still a voter in a poll and I know he does his homework. I think he also has or had a Heisman vote if I'm not mistaken.

I do still vote in the FCS poll and try to pay attention to what teams are doing. I also vote on all the FCS post season awards. No Heisman vote, though. My good friend and dear-departed broadcast partner Jim Fox used to have a Heisman vote. He'd convene all his cronies at the Blue Healer for lunch, we'd all give him our sage advice on who to vote for and then....he'd ignore it and vote for whoever the hell he wanted. But it was a good time nonetheless.

Yeah PBP it does reflect poorly from the outside-in. The frightening thing is there was 27 voters who voted that way

Wow how cool is that which you described about you and others getting together with your Heisman voting friend to talk and give input etc etc as a sports fan i can't think of a funner thing to do with friends. That's a Good story. Good job by you respecting and honoring your responsibility as a FCS voter and post season awards voter.

Here is an option if you like computer generated rankings. Compughter.com. This week 8 Oct 25. On compughter.com Northern Arizona is ranked 25 and Montana State is ranked 75 out of 125 FCS teams.

Now that's what I'm taking about UFTC!!! He sees a problem and he provides a solution to the problem. That is a much more accurate ranking I think. NAU may be a tad high in that ranking by the computer generating system but it's better than where MSU was at in that other ranking.
