FCS Rankings Week 4

Changes to FCS Rankings Week 4. We moved up from 85 to 69.

02). Eastern Washington
12). Southern Utah
13). Cal Poly
20). Montana
36). North Dakota
37). Northern Arizona
48). Portland State
54). Montana State
56). Northern Colorado
62). Weber State
69). Idaho State
89). UC Davis
119). Sacramento State

I have to assume we will be the underdog going into Portland State. I have to think Portland State will be favored by 8 points or more based on rankings and home field advantage. We will have to play our best game of the season to get that Win. Our DL will need to put pressure on their QB all day long... If not, it could get ugly.

We will have to play great to win on the road. But, I want to mention that we will be playing a number 48 ranked team that BARELY got a win from UC Davis, a team that is "ranked" 20 places behind Idaho State.

BengalBannMan - Portland State has not played UC Davis this season. Weber State beat UC Davis yesterday in a nail bitter. Portland State played Southern Utah yesterday.

Portland State was trailing Central Washington University (A division 2 team in the same conference as Simon Fraser) at the beginning of the 4th qtr of week 1 and rallied to win the 4th qtr and won the game. Central Washington University gave Portland State all they could handle. But I will say this Central Washington University appears to be a pretty good division 2 team this season, they did lose to Asuza Pacific but other than that CWU has rolled to easy victories, CWU beat Western Oregon 41-20 AT Western Oregons home stadium and Western Oregon is the team that BEAT Sacramento State 38-30 in week one. It is gonna be a great opportunity for our boys to get a TOUGH road win but like everyone has said in this thread we have to play GREAT and that's how it should be on the road. Coach Kramer said it great in postgame interview Saturday when he said "We have to be a lot more DOMINATING as offensive lineman in the trenches." Its true.

Too funny. I was definitely up too late last night. Pretty dumb of me to confuse the two games! I even watched BOTH of them at the same time with my computer, and Ipad... while watching the Arizona/Cal game on TV. OK so yes, Portland played well on the road at SUU. I'll save my comments and go get some rest! Lol. My bad.
