FCS Rankings

Just joined this forum and frankly, I'm quit surprised there isn't more of an uproar surrounding the lack of love CSUS is getting from the pollsters?!?! We've lost to 3 teams in the top 15 of the FCS by a combined total of 10 points. The only other loss was to the 6th rank FBS team in the country - Stanford! Our Sagan ranking last week was 85th overall which was the 8th best out of all the FCS schools. I don't get it! Haven’t seen where we are this week, but clearly this team is one of the best FCS schools in the country and will not even make the FCS tournament at the end of the year!!! A darn shame.

Welcome aboard pringe!

I don’t think anyone is happy with us not being mentioned, but really there is only one, maybe two quality wins in WSU and NAU. All our other wins have been against “weaker” teams and a non-counter D-II team. I agree that WSU should not be ranked ahead of us and that bothers me, but I am not surprised at all about Sac State not getting mentioned. Close losses doesn’t mean a damn imo. It’s great that Sperbeck has this program on the doorstep of the top tier of the BSC, but close losses won’t get us any respect. We need to start winning those close games against tough opponents for it to mean anything.

This looks like last week's poll. It shows Sac with 39 votes and Weber with 18.

it is last week....Poly is shown at 7-3 and still ranked 18. this one usually doesn't get updated to later in the day.

There are four 6-4 teams ranked in this week's poll and, surprise surprise, they are all in the Colonial :roll:
 
how 'bout them Pioneer League powerhouses, Jacksonville and Dayton.

i guess Dayton's 2OT win over Marist swayed the voters.

Marist? isn't that Nils Crane's wife?
