With 9 min to go UM took the lead 28-25 by scoring a TD to win the game.

Sac only had 11 1st Dns, 246 total yds and 2 TO's and almost won the game in missoula.

montana had 274 yds passing and only 40 yds rushing. chase had 21 carries for 42 yds.

um had 4 to's.

the Hornets failed to get any first downs on their final three possessions.

Chris Diniz booted four field goals for the Hornets, and Bryan Hilliard had 124 yards rushing.

Roper was 16 of 19 for 189 yards, and Selle 5 of 9 for 85 yards for the Grizzlies, who had only 40 yards rushing in the game.

in UM's 3 DI games they have 14 turnovers. almost 5 a game average.

Yeah it was a close one. Some questionable officiating calls but regardless; we didn’t execute the passing game at all. Fleming was off all game and just could not get anything going through the air. Our defense really kept us in it and the Hornets forced a punt with about 2 minutes left. Unfortunately nothing came of it and the desperation 4th and long was picked. Hopefully you guys have better luck against UM this year.
