First scrimmage report

Hard to gauge much of anything from the scrimmages but here is the story anyway.

I think one thing it showed is that we may have some good depth at the WR spot. Papanikolas with 4 catches, freshman Fowler with 4 catches (and a TD), and Gooden moving over. This could be a very fun year offensively if the line performs well.

Great to hear that there was a scrimmage after it happened. Nice job Weber. Thats how you build a fan base. :thumb:

Regardless, good to hear that Hoke's shoulder has healed and that the Cats have a couple of freshman already producing in Maxwell and Fowler.

Actually, I think I read in the Standard Examiner about the scrimmage the day before it happened and that the public is invited to watch practices.

I must have missed it. Maybe before I start spouting off about things, I should fully check. Thanks Waldo. I think I've gotten to use to Mac spoiling us and giving us a scrimmage schedule for the entire fall camp. I know it is just a scrimmage, but I enjoy watching the team and talking to other fans at the scrimmages. Oh well. Did you get a chance to go?

So does anyone know if the practice scheduled for this Saturday is a scrimmage or not?
I wouldn't mind catching some Saturday morning WSU football.
Saturday, Aug. 18 (Stewart Stadium)
9:30 am - 12:00 pm Practice session #17
