Eagles with their first win tonight on the hardwood. 75-70 over University of South Carolina Upstate. :dance: I'm really looking forward to Nov. 30th. Hoping the boys can give Santa Clara a run and come out with 2 in a row. Go EAGS!! :thumb:
 
Am I reading right that Chiverton fouled out in 18 minutes of playing time? Why do we seem to commit so many fouls?

I'm not knowledgable about basketball at all... I'm just throwing the question out there based on the stat lines.

Glad to finally win one. Hope to see the team shake off this rotten start to the season.
 
I got excited when I saw that we won a game until I saw who we beat. Who and/or what is a "South Carolina Upstate"? Is that even a Division I school?
 
Heard Larry say they used to be SC - Spartanburg before changing to Upstate, and they made the postseason last year, and they returned 4 starters. Not the NIT, but the other tourney outside the dance.

Glad EWU got a win!
 
Listened to the game :) This game had everything! Dunks, assists, lay-ups, blocks and assists :clap: We got the lead and even though USC Upstate came back again and again the eags held them off. What more is there to say?? :notworthy:
 
Nice game from Venky Jois... second straight double-double! Good effort from the freshman!
 
Whew! Finally. With all this talent it was about time. Good win, granted it was against a no-name team with a losing record. A win is a win. Would have by more if we had played the Kelly kid. Is he hurt?
 
USC Upstate that we beat just beat a team we lost to today...Utah Valley. Upstate beat Utah Valley by 25pts so I believe that was a good win(I guess).
