Foot Locker misses the boat on DLillard release

Okay.... Lets say you sign a player to a major shoe deal. One of his requests is that he pays tribute to his college team in the initial release. So the launch happens and you decide to have the closest physical location to stock the college edition shoes is 700 miles away in Las Vegas. That makes absolutely no sense.

I heard from a Portland fan that the Weber State shoe is all that their stores have left. I talked to an employee at House of Hoops in City Creek, he said that he called corporate yesterday when they did not get the Weber State shoe. He was told that was shipped heavily to the East coast and larger markets than Utah. That makes no sense to me. The Ogden Foot Locker could have a banner week selling these things. Just another in a long list of Lillard snubs.
 
The closest mall to my pad had loads of dame shoes in the Weber purple. I picked up a pair. All the employees knew about wsu. I was wearing a weber shirt and one employee asked if I went there and another tried to explain to me that dame played for weber. Lol
