• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!

3 night games!
1 Friday game on general conference weekend.
2 day games in November.
Finally somebody clued in on scheduling.
Whom do I have to thank? Bovee or Sears?

Bovee and Ron Goch. On top of more night games, they've got some things in the works to get butts in the seats. At least that's what I've heard from Ron. We'll see if it pans out. WSU Athletics has had a way of blowing it when it comes to promoting our teams. The new "regime" seems dedicated to changing that.

Night games always have better attendance than day games.
Avoiding general conference is big as too many people feel conflicted and usually end up staying home.
I like the day games in November because it can get cold.

This is a great schedule - Kudos to those who put it together.

Now, lets see if the marketing will come along as well.

How about good weather games? we all know our crowds vs MSU and NAU were effected by the blizzard at the start of both of them.

The weather was pretty crappy at the start for both, but by the end, it was really nice. Just gotta give it some time, especially in Utah. All you have to do is wait 15min and the weather will change.

Me and my dad went to both games, but I can understand someone lokking out thier window a half an hour before the game, see a blizzard and say "maybe next time" We always have at least two bad weather games that kill our attendance average, if the weather is nice (yeah I know we live in Utah) every saturday during football season our average would be pretty good.

Check out last year's games.

Sacramento State- 8,362 Cloudy, but warm
Idaho State- 11,297- nice warm partly cloudy night
Southern Utah- 8,657- another warm night

I have a hard time believing these next few numbers

Montana State- 6,505- blizzard at start nice cold day for the rest
Northern Arizona- 7,614- blizzard for whole first half, stopped at start of 2nd but really cold. (If there was really 7,600 people at this game, than our 3 games at night must have had close to 15K)
