The Twin Falls Times-News reports he'll sign today...

When Kameron Pearce signed with Northeastern (Colo.) Junior College, he did so with the hope his time there could propel him to the NCAA Division I level.

Today, that hope will come to fruition.

Pearce, a 2010 Jerome High School graduate, will sign a National Letter of Intent with Idaho State University. He'll join the Bengals men's basketball program for the 2011-12 season.

"I just feel good to be coming home and have a chance to play in front of more family and friends," Pearce said. "It was always my dream and now I'm going to do my best to maintain it."

Pearce averaged 12 points, five rebounds and three assists per game for Northeastern, hitting 39 percent from 3-point range. But things really started to click for him after the Christmas break as he averaged about 18 points per game in Region IX play, helping NJC to a 19-15 record.
