Former PSU player Neil Fendall named DB coach at Cal Poly

All right! Good for Neil. Good memories, good player during Walsh's time here. Great name, too. It sounds good. May good come to Cal Poly program from this hire.
 
I should also point out that Fendall replaces former PSU assistant Randy Hanson who was arrested the night/morning before camp open. Hanson was charge with assault with a deadly weapon for hitting a man in the head with a beer bottle during a bar fight at 1:23 am. He was suspended and then resigned making way for Fendall. Hanson was the coach that got his jaw broke by former Raider head coach Tom Cable. Hanson replaced former PSU player and coach Greg Lupfer.
