I purchased 20 student tickets and left them at will call for the first 20 students who show up to get tickets. Please, no eye gouging or hair pulling while waiting in line. ;-)

There are no names attached to the tickets. Just say you heard there may be some available.

Nice guy..thanks oldrunner! (And I'm not a student...buying my own seats, to help with the CIT finances). Good fans like you make WEBER STATE GREAT GREAT GREAT!

Last I checked students are defined as people who pay for and attend classes. Maddawg you dont fall into that category. Lol ya sod.

oldrunner,

you should make sure they only give your tkts to current students. non current students and former students should use their purchasing power to support our program and feel proud to do so!

this game honestly is a great opportunity to support the program financially. i have offered anyone in my fam free tkts. i hope they take me up on it.

The ticket office knows they are for students. I told them to give them to the first 20 students who showed up for ticks. They May be gone already.

I hope that whoever gets them has a good time. I'd love to see something like this catch on. There must be another couple hundered people out there who have thought about doing the same thing and just haven't got around to it yet. Just do it. It feels good. :twocents:

40 Free student tickets available at the ticket office, for Saturdays game with Air Force. Once again, no pushing or shoving in line. ;-)

The ticket office is very busy. I was on hold for 10 minutes waiting to buy. When I did get through, I am 5 rows above where i was last night, and I bought those tickets an hour before the game.

I'm expecting a much bigger crowd for Saturday night. :thumb:

Oldrunner, that is very generous of you, especially to do it on back-to-back games. I wish there were more like you out there in the WSU community. We'd have something truly special here if that were the case. I'll spread the word about your free tix. Tip of the hat to ya. :notworthy:

I just had my wife go over and try and get two of the free student tickets courtesy of oldrunner. When she got there she was told that originally they had 40 free tickets to give away, but now they are going to let in ALL students for free!! Maybe there were enough donors like oldrunner that stepped up and bough tickets for students? So for all students, just show up to the game with a WSU ID. This needs to be spread around so the students know its free... Thanks oldrunner :-D ...

That is sweet news. I am sure that there have been some others step up to the plate. I thought this might happen. Sometimes we just need to put the bug in peoples ears. I hope we get a ton of students out to the game. It's good for everyone. :thumb:

Maybe the ticket office has already sold enough 10 buck tickets to cover the cost of hosting a game, so they are able to now let students in for free? Just a thought, because old said that he had to wait on the phone and he is higher up for Sat. game than last night... ;-)

I called the ticket office. They will now use the 40 I purchased for guests of students. Students will get in on their ID cards and if they want to bring adate or other family, they can use those tickets until they are gone. :thumb:

Got my tickets, I overheard the conversation the gentleman buying tickets next to me was having with the lady behind the window and he asked her if they were selling any tickets, she told him that they have been EXTREMELY (yes she said extremely) busy and they are expecting a pretty good crowd.
