Thursday night tip in Fresno. Looking forward to seeing how the Cats play on the road. Loved the early season effort against USU (PSU beat the Aggies, but they were without McEwen and that is a major loss for the Ags) and the effort in the Bahamas. Now the Cats need to start growing up fast. This is a winnable road game. Yes, Fresno is a good team and will defend their home court well. However, they are beatable, and I feel the Cats are good enough to beat the Bulldogs.
If nothing more, this is a great early season match up for the Cats. Fresno, looks very very similar to the Cats, except, they have played some better teams. Deshon Taylor is averaging 19 a game and 6-8 Freshman Center Bryson Williams is grabbing a team high 7.8 rebounds per game. They get 12 assists per game and are shooting .414 outside the arch. Not the best FT shooting team, and inside the arch they are only .493. Weber is currently .532 overall FG, .736 FT, and .444 from three. If the Cats have a decent shooting night, play stingy defense, and stay out of foul trouble, they could home with a W.
