Portland State U: Turning 60 and Finding a Niche

Portland State University is a relatively young institution, but when it turned 60 last year, its leaders recognized that the community's perception of the institution had not caught up with reality, mostly because Portland State had grown so big that the colleges within it were creating their own identitites.
