Fulton??

So I was watching bigskytv and the announcer said that Fulton was getting his first playing time this season against EWU. Is that true? Is there a reason why he hadn't played in any games up until yesterday?

He had a solid game and I can't help but think his post presence and experience would have helped out big time against our in-state rival games. Has he been hurt or just not getting the nod from coach?

He actually played a little in one or two of the games I think. He had his knee scoped right when the season started so that set him back a little and also Bolomboy has emerged and has taken his minutes. Otis has been playing really well too. Its a good problem to have 3 good PF's. I think he will get some more minutes, but with Otis and Bolomboy getting the majority of the playing time.

Fulton had arthroscopic surgery on his knee before the start of the season. He has been back to practice and suited up for games this past month. He had played in only 2 or 3 before last night. I believe his first points of the season were last night.

Thanks for the heads up.

Having a plethora of bigs is nice. Too bad we didn't have that problem last year.

Anyways, I'm glad he had a good showing last night. The team looks to be pretty good this year and should be just fine in conference play.

We have already won some games due to our depth in the front court. I expect that there will be another three or four games that will be won just because we can bring quality bigs off the bench and not lose much productivity. It allows us to do a ton of things that we couldn't do last year. One great thing that it allows us to do is pressure the outside and not double down as much. Mid major teams tend to depend on the 3 point shot a lot. We are defending it much better now. :coffee:
