Came across this link this morning.

Vernon got ZERO national preseason love.

I love how he's proving everyone wrong now!

Site says "FCS Position Ratings were strictly provided by Josh Buchanan of JBScouting.com: These ratings are based solely on college performance"

Guessing a few EWU players will be moving up the lists next fall

The other Montana player that I think is vastly overrated is Jordan Tripp at LB!

I'd argue that Tripp is a legit first-team all conference kid... I don't even think Jordan Johnson makes honorable mention.

I think VA is hands-down the best QB in the Big Sky. Now that we've seen quite a few of them, who's the second best? Johnson? Mcghee? Or maybe the ISU QB? He really did a number on us.

Why does Jordan Johnson from Montana get so highly rated? I think he's just an average Big Sky QB.

Now you've done it. :ohno:

Seriously, though. Adams is having a monster year, and McGhee has been a great QB at Montana State. No doubt they are first and second team All Big Sky. I'd argue that Arias at Idaho State is quite a monster. Really, Johnson hasn't done much to separate himself from the pack... which is telling given that Montana has a lot of offensive tools. :twocents:

Agree on 1 and 2. McGhee played a really nice game against us and is terrific with the play fakes. Johnson is still not a real accurate passer but his throwing has improved over two years ago...and he's only thrown one pick all season. I'd say Johnson, Arias, and Saffron are all about equal.

One could say that JJ is a hell of a game manager. He's very careful with the football, but not all that accurate.
