Future Big Sky Schedules

What do you have to back that up, GCM? I didn't think Weber was losing that much. I see them in a four-way battle with UM, EWU, and us for the league title. In any event, I don't think there's any way in heck they lose to SUU, and those FBS games are winnable as well. Now, they're not guaranteed wins like a Sun Belt game would be. But Weber is going to be no pushover, IMO.

I'd say their lackluster season last year backs up his prediction fairly well. They were supposed to be "contenders" last season however they fell short.

But it's probably too early to make predictions anyway, I just don't see Sac losing as many as Wildcat suggested, even when considering Sac opponents and the road stretches.

Technically Weber was picked to finish 4th behind both Montana's and EWU, and we finished tied with Sac and Montana for 3rd at 5-3 in conf, so I wouldnt say we dissapointed. The teams we lost to, (BC, Sac, EWU, MSU and Texas Tech) where better than us, Our only home loss was to eventual co Big Sky champ and National Champion Eastern Washington, We beat Montana, we won at NAU (with a backup QB) and we came a fumble away from beating co Big Sky champs Montana State AT MSU (again with a backup QB), so I wouldnt say we underachieved.

A 3 point win over both ISU and UNC isnt impressive either, two teams that WSU should have crushed last season. I will admit that UNC was better last season than in the past, but they were still a weaker opponent.

Sac Was 11 points away from being 10-1, the only loss of more than 4 points was against Stanford. Most of that team returns next season and will again beat WSU.

And FYI, Sac played with a backup QB, RB, and WR almost the entire season last year.

FYI in 2008 when Weber won the Big SKy title we beat UNC by 7 at home, and we were a MUCH better team in 08 than we were in 2010, and only once in the 5 game series has Weber won by more than 8 points, but Weber is still 5-0 against UNC, which is all that matters. In our latest brawl with UNC Weber had 6 turnovers and still won, take those turnovers away and............well you can guess the rest. And Idaho State is a rivalry game, in a rivalry game you can throw the whole "who the better team is" crap out the window, the last year Graybeal was Weber's coach Weber went 1-10 and thier lone victory was over a better Idaho State team AT Pocatello. Rivalry.

Your making a bold statement for a team that is 0-7 in Ogden

Also I'd like to know where your Hatred of Weber State came from.

I don't think it's a bold prediction at all, it's not like playing in front of 6,000 fans is intimidating. All streaks are broken at some point in time, I just think this year will be Sac's year to win in Ogden.

It's not hatred, it's a dislike of anything that has ever been associated with a certain cult. However, don't take it personally, I feel the same way about the UC system, Bay Area, Southern California, and the legislature here. I'm a fickle person, it's very easy for me to dislike something for the most rediculous of reasons.

This will be my last post regarding the Weber, Sac peeing match we're having. The thread appears to have been knocked off track regarding our postings. Good luck to WSU this season.
