Future BYU game in Rexburg?

I’ve heard rumblings that BYU wants to play ISU at Viking Stadium in 2014. Of course they’ll have to bring in temporary bleachers for it. The MWC had provisions that would not have allowed for this to happen but now that BYU is independent they can do what they want. I really hope this is true.

NO THANKS...I will be busy that day. No need to go watch the Bengals Play in Rexburg. I would much rather go to PROVO! (better of two evils)
This does not make any sense to me. For one they could not handle the crowd. There will be maybe 20 K seats if they are lucky? to get into that football stadium area on the campus? They can sell that and another 20 K if they had the room to all BYU fans.

Nope, I am going to listen on the radio. Besides, not may good bars and I am sure Tailgating will be SNUFFED by the city and the BYU Idaho BARNEY FIFE'S!!

Would you happen to have any references or links to your post?

Probably not; however, very interesting if it turns out to be true.

That would be interesting. Would a game at that venue be considered a home game for BYU? What would be better is if BYU-I decided to begin an intercollegiate athletics department. In a perfect world, they could join the Big Sky. That would create a great rivalry game every year similar to Utah/BYU on a smaller scale.

It would obviously benefit BYU. I don’t if I like this or not. BYU did something similar to this in hoops when they played Vermont in Jimmer Fredette’s hometown.
