Future Schedules

From a source in the Athletic Department, I heard that Weber is currently working out an deal with UVU to play a home and home in the future. This series could start as early as next season (2011-2012). Right now, there is a slight possibility that Poly and Davis will be willing to play the Cats in basketball in the OCC, but nothing has been set in stone.

On a side note there is a rumour that the high and mightey UTES aren't going to be visiting any of their sister schools arenas in the future; specifically USU and Weber. This hasn't been confirmed, but it does make sense. Utah has always thought their poop smells better than everyone elses. I guess they have forgotten that they are a state school just like WSU, USU, UVU, and SUU. Guess I should start requesting that my tax dollars go to another instate school, since the Utes think they are an elite, private, institution that is to good to travel on Bus for 30 miles.

That was one of the first questions I had when they went pac-10. I kinda figured they wouldn't come back, especially since we beat them.

Screw the Ewe!

Agreed, if Utah thinks they are too good to come to our house (which they are not) than forget them, take Utah off our schedule Permanently.

Playing Weber wont hurt thier RPI, but if thats the attitude they are going to have SCREW EM. Its too bad I really like Utah.

What about our game vs Tulsa? Is it a home and home? Will we be playing them at the Dee anytime soon?

I'm 95% that the Tulsa game is a one time deal. But there is a slight possibility that they are going to come West next year.

Weber will play in the Bracket Buster this year, but unfortunately, the game, in all likelyhood, will be a road game. Regardless, next season, the team we play is required to come to the away teams home court. Also, I'm pretty sure that Weber will get a home bracket buster game. With the UVU deal pretty much set, that means Weber could have three more home games next year against legitimate DI teams. That is going to be a pretty nice home schedule. We know that Utah, USU, and SUU will be in Ogden next year, so that is already six DI OCC home games. Kinda nice.
