Future TV Game

Super Hornet 2.0

Active member
Just found out that next week's Montana at Sac State is on ESPN2. First Hornet game I'll have seen in quite awhile. I can't wait. I've already set my DVR....

We’ve known this for months and it was discussed on the board. There has been an ESPN2 logo next to the game on the website since the beginning of the season.

If you can’t bother following the team, just go away. Thanks.

Wow. You’re friendly! Great way to encourage more people to follow the team!

This guy

a) was the second comment on the post when this was announced in June
b) claims he was a QB on the team in some delusional fantasy world.

We are very welcoming on this board of new fans. Him? We'd all be better off if he stopped lying and found a better use of his time.

SacRat might forget things but he has been spreading knowledge about Hornet Football for years and he is right about SuperHornet. Keep up being the overly optimistic fan. We should all be that way

I love supporting this team and the program, as I have for many years... I hate the blindness toward Casey and letting him lie and make us look foolish on this board.

Good luck everyone... I'm done on here.

Stingthemgood, it is not turning a blind eye. SH has had many eyebrow-raising posts, leaving one mystified. I don’t know the history, nor care, but I see it as humourous and do not take it seriously. I doubt many here care in this virtual message board of fandom where everyone remains cloaked behind a moniker unlikely ever to meet in person. I hope you stick around.

1. I have NOT lied about ANYTHING. I've certainly been wrong about some things, but I've never lied.

2. I'm very disappointed that the collegial feel of this board is being disrupted by the presence of a bully. That's sad. We've never had that before....

1) There is not a single person here who believes your stories about being a QB on the team. I personally am willing to fly to wherever you live and see if you can throw the ball more than 10 yards down the field.

2) I am trying to improve the image of the board by talking about the team and having in depth conversations. I don’t think you could name five players off the top of your head without looking them up. Yet, you feel like you know football more than anyone on this board.

This is my final post here. Probably time to start a new board where we can all support the Hornets and not look like fools.

I just don’t see why it’s so hard for some to ignore and not respond to those that they dislike and/or find to be disingenuous, insincere or lacking knowledge.

I frequent numerous different forums for the various teams I follow and there are many that have proven to me that they don’t deserve to be taken seriously. If I can’t add them to an ignore list I just skip past their posts as soon as I see their handle. It’s a rather easy thing to do.

Trolling and responding to each of their posts benefits nobody. It just pollutes the forum and causes others not to want to participate.

IMO people are far better off only engaging with those whom they can have friendly and fair discourse and ignoring the rest.

This place has always been about the good, the bad, and the ugly of Hornet athletics (and other topics). No reason to change that now.

Which is fine, when in good faith. Honest discourse is a tremendous thing.

However I highly doubt you’ll find many members here that’ll agree that’s what has been going on here.
