My nomination goes to Tevin McDonald. Made a huge play that changed the momentum of the game.

I could go with this also.Seattle Eagle said:My game ball goes to the Offensive Line. I thought they played really well.

Run blocking was probably better than our pass protection (think they got a couple sacks)...but overall, they played well and probably better than I expected. Great production by the backs as well in this game. Warmed my heart to see us run it down their throats to close out that game. Personally, I think Forte deserves the game ball. Not only for his solid production in this game, but the block he put on that defender late in the game.LDopaPDX said:Seattle Eagle said:My game ball goes to the Offensive Line. I'd be good with the OL getting it. They played well all game. Heck, Vernon's numbers were fairly pedestrian (for him), but he had three LONG TDs dropped that were well-thrown balls. His feet saved us in a couple drives and his arm was clutch in short yardage throws.
On the whole it wasn't a very good first game for either team. Neither us nor them really seemed in synch on either side of the ball. We also benefitted from about 3 ridiculous calls. It seemed like every 50/50 call went our way as well.

They scored that long TD run because our end and the willy LB were completely caught in no-mans-land. We'll see more mobile QBs in the future and will need to get better with that.

I saw that too. It looked like we were going with two LB's most of the game. Who has containment in that set?
