First game of a new basketball season! Just what the doctor ordered--to staunch the flow of blood and get the patient back on his feet again! GO BENGALS! :D

WSU won 110-58 hit several 3's.

And as for our point guard. Brod is legit. He is going to be a headache for a lot of teams this year.

Sherrod is also doing really well at the one as well. But he might see some two action. We will see tonight.

Colorado Springs deserved that game, hats off to them. Back to back is tough. Sherrod earned more pt as well as Mike... If we could somehow combine Dave and Rolando's skills. I think Rolando should be the starter. He is more aggressive i think although sometimes out of position on D. Don't be too discouraged Bengal fans it was just game one. I know what WSU did to this team last night. I think we need more going to the basket offensively. Running the same basic offense as we have been since year one with OB. Swinging the ball around the perimeter is not attacking the basketball. The only time we attack it is when we do the hand off with the big. Or, when a guy takes his man one on one like Row did several times tonight.

Glad basketball is finally here. Coaching staff has done a great job with recruiting. Looking forward to the season.

GO Bengals

OK, so it wasn't a *blowout* win. I'm not sure that would have been a helpful experience. What I did like to see was this team's "let's-find-a-way-to-win" attitude. Some great individual performances--Mike Lacey's hussle and rebounding, Sherrod Baldwin's tough defense on the point guard, his hussle, and scoring, Donnie Carson's driving to the basket early, rebounding, defense, and Gilchrest's driving to the basket. Amorrow Morgan is still a consistent performer and leader. Some pieces still missing due to injuries--Monroe and Kirkpatrick. For a first-time out--not bad.......it's going to be a good year! GO BENGALS!
