The Oregonian Doesn't even know how to predict the turnout for the game. Seems like they think the turnout should be well over 12K and that should be a great way to start the season off. With that being said I think the turnout might be bigger than 15k. This is the first time ever I have seen the Viks right there next to the ducks in a non Montana week in the paper. WAKE UP get the coffee brewing and put the beers on ice and most importantly get the beef outta the freezer to thaw out its college game day!

Cooler is packed and the brats will be on the grill in about an hour.

Go Viks! Let's get PGE loud and proud today.

One positive note from last night...

The drumline that PSU brought in was great. I hope they keep that up.

In the McNeese St game we only scored field goals. Last night we actually scored a couple of TD's . I don't know about you guys, but I can live with some improvement each and every game throughout the season. We can only get better....we can't get much worse....

I was in attendance at the Portland State game was generally impressed with game day atmosphere.

The drum line was a nice addition considering your school seems to be lacking a marching band. My only complaint was they shouldn't have been playing the WHOLE halftime show. The fireworks were great, the drum line gave me head-ache.

The crowd of 12,000 got loud at times, but never loud enough during the critical moments of the game. At those desperate times when stops were needed the crowd let the team down in terms of making noise for the PSU defense.

And you may need to have a talk with whoever runs that Jumbotron. Glanville asking for noise when your team was on the goal line trying to punch the ball in was very untimely, though great for us Aggie fans shouting for our defense.

All in all, a great time and truly friendly fan base. Portland is an amazing city. Beat Sac State!

Yeah, that's a good point.

I guess that'll be what I'm looking for in the Sac State game. A win, obviously, but progress on our areas of concern.

We get better with O-line and corner play and we'll be in a position to win and be 1-0 in conference.
