We only have 4 home game so lets make the most of them. What would you like to see to make game day an entertaining experience (besides 4 wins)?

A packed house for every single one of them. That's the most important thing, IMO.

Beyond that, they've got some good ideas like military appreciation day, etc.......I think we'll see some changes in how the program is promoting games this year. Can't have a repeat of the poor attendance of the last couple of regular season and the first two playoff games. People need to stop being such fair weather (literally) fans and get out there even when you're freezing your butt off.

I think "fair weather" fans become all weather fans as loyalty grows. I hope the program gains more respect from locals because of their accomplishments. Have never understood why people would drive almost 200 miles RT to see the Cougars loose and not drive 20 miles to Cheney to see a playoff team.
In my original post I was referring to fun and entertaining things to keeps peoples attention between series, half time, cheers, etc.
IMHO people go to a game to be entertained and that is more than the football game.

I'll be there no matter what, but there has to be food, booze, shelter, and some kind of entertainment for the casual bandwagon types in the parking lot. If it were me, I'd go back to an Albi parking lot style setup. Put up a big tent with food and beer inside, as well as some screens with a couple college games on. Outside, I'd rent one of those big inflatable screens to show games as well. Take a few of the portable bleachers from the practice field and park them in front of the screen for folks to sit on. Keep it simple, but give the people what they want. Football games, food, booze, heat and shelter. It doesn't have to be complicated.

better concessions and something that will get the students to come out as well as family orientated activities. I think the crowds this year will be very good no matter what but it wont hurt to start making improvements in regard to game day which will in turn make some of the fare weather fans all weather fans as clawman said.

Great Idea's. We need to step it up....

There's an opportunity to make every single game unique with only 4 home games this year. How about a different "theme" for each game?

Have Swoop lead the team onto the field.... on a motorcycle.

Hopefully we'll have a new Scoreboard/Videoboard and maybe Davin Perry could do one more job for EWU and make a badass intro video to play every game before the team takes the field.

Screamin'
That would be cool. We need more "tradition" like your idea or another might a "game walk" where the cheerleaders and or band march through the tailgating area acting like the Pied Piper and fans join the march to the field.

Expand the tailgating area for more RV's and cars, more honey buckets, electrical hook ups for season RV spots,

+1 on the honey bucket issue. Expansion of the lot must happen, but like nearly everything at Eastern, it's all about cash flow. :twocents:
