Cheerful Tortoise is NOT a PSU Sports Bar. They're just another general public sports bar that happens to be taking up space in the University District where a PSU Sports Bar should be. That's all. So they're nothing at all special. They just show all kinds of different games simultaneously without any special focus on PSU (except that they deign to include their game). Biiiiig deal.

Did someone give you a short pint recently?

I'm not saying that Cheerful is the bees knees... and for that matter, they've alienated Timbers Army in more ways than one lately. What I'm saying is that nobody else seems to be stepping up to take that opportunity.

What gets me is, after wrestling with this answer for a bit, my suspicion that nobody would take that opportunity right now.

Maybe the lad in your mirror should prove me wrong. That may be the only way you get your wish.

Until then, Cheerful is the only spot in this fine city even coming on board to say they're showing this game.

Not sure where exactly in that post I claimed to be crowning Cheerful as the PSU Sports Bar. Just wanted to let people know that they're showing the game. There's some people, like myself, without a TV who might like to watch it. Chill.
