Game Tomorrow

We have a game tomorrow! I joined this site a week ago. Thought we might have some banter and learn a little about each other. I’ve got a good friend in Vancouver. Said it’s a short drive to Hillsboro. I’m flying up early tomorrow. Why do you play that far from Campus? What is the Hillsboro connection? Any thing to do there?
Our local High School played at Tarleton for 70 years, but finally built their own stadium to open this year due to NCAA regulations about making the stadium available for visiting teams 24 hours before a game. Something like that.
We bring a weird rpo offense. Super delayed handoffs, and take at least one deep shot per series. Sometimes it’s a home run. Sometimes it creates 3 and out.
Our defense struggles against the run which will be fun when we fly to the east coast for a Friday game against Army. Army may have the ball for 48 minutes. People have put us on the FBS scalp watch. I’m hoping, but that’s a terrible matchup for us.
So, I don’t know much about Portland State. Anyone? Did I find the wrong forum? Is there another one?

We basically were booted out of Providence Park since Portland has a pretty popular MLS team that isn't keen with American football being played on the pitch. We do have a single game there later this season versus Montana, so there's that. We just have a practice field on campus, so Hillsboro it is.

I thought I'd read that you guys were supposed to be pretty stout against the run this year with a pretty good d-line coming back. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'd like to see us put up some pretty good ground numbers tomorrow, but not exactly what I was expecting.

You found the right forum. PSU tends to get overshadowed by Oregon and Oregon State in the Portland market with regards to sports.
