Getting Playoff Eligible - LakGriz

LakGriz does an update on eGriz as to what each team must do to become playoff eligible. We have to go 5-2 over the last 7 games to become eligible. I believe that WILL get us an at-large, but then again, maybe I have too much faith...



Got to get 7 wins over D 1 teams -- updated thru 9/25 (disregarding AutoBid for champion)

MSU 3-1 7 games to get 5 hosts Sac St
Sac 2-2 7 games to get 5 at MSU
Weeb 2-2 7 games to get 5 at EWash

Griz 2-2 6 games to get 5 hosts NoColo

NAU 2-2 7 games to get 6 idle
ISU 2-2 7 games to get 6 (one @ BYU) hosts Portland
PSU 2-1 7 games to get 6 at Idaho State

EWash 0-4 7 games to get 7 hosts Weber
NoCol 0-4 7 games to get 7 at Montana

Eastern Washington and Northern Colorado are dormie -- one more loss and they're out of it...

Yup. A long road still lies ahead. Every week is going to be a complete grind. If the Hornets don’t bring it on any given week, they will see a loss. So far this season we’ve played good enough to win every game and bad enough to lose every game.

if weber has a big yr and finishes ranked you would have ur losses both to top 25 teams and an fbs win. big sky could get 4 teams in but probably 3 is the best bet. if you beat msu then i think sac will probab be in the playoffs this yr.

If Sac beats MSU, they aren't losing another game for the rest of thier conference play

We'll likely stumble at MSU, but I think we will finish out the season 5-1. I'm not sure which game it will be, but I've guessed that it will be at PSU...

This weekend will tell us a lot. If we remain schizo, we're toast. But if we beat MSU (and I certainly think it's possible, though obviously not a given), then I think the Utah jitters are gone and we win out.
