You know, I can understand wanting to make a change with their W/L record, and I hear that many in the conference didn't like Glanville---but he was the only coach I thought was interesting on those weekly BSC coach conference calls. The other coaches give the standard rote replies and dodges, with some obviously irritated with the similarly standard rote questions.
Whatever else may be the problem with Glanville, he seemed to genuinely care about his players, had funny anecdotes, and was willing to deviate from the typical formula responses during interviews---which I thought was entertaining.
