Unlike some of you, I'm not a Coug hater  and want to see them do well. Their game at home this weekend against Oregon State is winnable and would put them in great shape to get to a bowl.

On the other hand, Oregon State continuing to win will help us down the road when it comes to at-large bids and/or playoff seeding as the selection committee uses SOS and some computer polls in the process.

So.....who ya got?

Way back when Jim Walden was the Coug coach, he used to have a tv show. Every week he would give all the reasons why they got crushed and how it wasn't really their fault. I've been a Coug hater ever since. So to me I don't really care if an OSU win will help us, I just want to see the cougs get whooped. More importantly, I want to see the Eags make a big statementand earn our own way to a high seed in the playoffs.

I couldn't care less about WSU/UW, outside of just watching great matchups like UW/Stanford because I love football. With that said, I hope OSU crushes the cougs, for EWU's strength of schedule. Would be nice if OSU finished 10-2 or so.

It sounds like the Paul Wulff era at WSU.... except without the TV show.

I personally will root against the Cougs every game they ever play unless it somehow benefits Eastern or UDub. But with that said, yes, it would be better if Oregon State won this game no matter how I feel about Wazzu.

Personally I am more interested in watching someone from UW taking the WSU flag and running with it on ESPN GAME DAY . . .KJR put out a 100 bounty on the flag. No way that flag makes it through the broadcast.

Also GO BEAVS!

To each their own, I personally root for all Washington teams with Eastern being on the top of the list and the Huskies at the bottom in head-to-head matchups.

I'm not a Wazzu hater either; more like indifferent to them most of the time. I do know that the more OSU wins, the better our win against them looks. So I will root for OSU in this one.

Same. I'll root for anyone in the state except Gonzaga. Those assholes can go to hell. Everyone else is cool, Eags, Cougs, Dawgs, even the non DI programs.

It's sad that Western dropped their football program, as did Walla Walla. Schools in Oregon are adding football to their athletics offering. Pacific just started their first year of football. George Fox is scheduled to begin their football program next year. Washington has gone the California route of abandoning football.
