This year is the first year I can remember that we ever got any help from other teams winning key games. Maybe just maybe that trend will continue and we get a little help from the Vandals Thursday night and then have the Griz beat EWU on Saturday. We would still have to take care of business on our end but that is the most likely scenario that would help us that I can see. Sooooo GO VANDALS AND MSU TONIGHT AND GO GRIZ ON SATURDAY!!!!!!!!
Fourth place NAU (10-4) leads at North Dakota, 42 to 36 at the half. ND cut the lead from 13 to stay in it. NAU could take another one on the chin so they are not 13 and 4 when the Hornets get there for the final game of the season.
Eastern Washington blows out Montana State 92 to 68 to go to 12 and 3. Montana has held Idaho to it's lowest point total in a first half this season at 24 and lead the Vandals in Moscow, 33 to 24. It looks like the three contender's are taking care of business tonight; let's hope the Hornets do the same Saturday at PSU.
Under 8 to go, Montana 49 Idaho 42; the Griz aren't giving anything up. Idaho will have to really step it up to take this game, but I doubt if they can do it. Griz at EWU at 2 on Sat.
Under 4 to go and it's not looking good for the Vandals or Hornets as the Griz continue to hold a lead, 55 to 48. Vandals got it to two, but MT pushed it back up. They've got a good team.
As I said earlier, it seems we are finally getting some help from other teams winning key games. Now we need to win out or get one more break with Montana beating EWU. The Griz can definitely make it hard on EWU to score and that seems to be the thing that sets EWU off their game. Come back hungry Griz, beat EWU.
