would love to see him go unconscious and drain 8 in a game! ill never forget that ewu at weber game in '04 when johnny hamilton did it. one of the best games i have ever attended at weber even though it wasnt the most important game. but ewu was the conf champ and i think it was their final road trip and losing in ogden was fun to watch!

Weber State 81, Eastern Wash. 78 (OT)

OGDEN, Utah (AP)--John Hamilton hit eight 3-pointers on 11-of-15 shooting and scored 31 points to lead Weber State to an 81-78 overtime win over Eastern Washington on Thursday.

Eastern Washington (15-11, 11-2 Big Sky) led 75-72 with 1:28 left in overtime but Hamilton then knocked down three consecutive 3-pointers and hit the game-winning 3 with 3.6 seconds left in overtime.

Nic Sparrow added 18 points while Lance Allred scored 17 for the Wildcats (13-13, 6-7 Big Sky).
Alvin Snow led Eastern Washington with 23 points. Marx Axton and Brendon Merritt each scored 16 for the Eagles.

Weber trailed 69-68 but Hamilton hit one-of-two free throws with 5.2 seconds left to tie the game at 69. Following an Eastern Washington turnover, Hamilton had a chance to win the game for Weber State but missed a baseline three at the buzzer.

Weber State led 33-27 at halftime. Eastern Washington opened the second half on a 17-6 run to take a 44-37 lead following a Snow basket with 14:43 left in regulation.

Weber rallied to tie the game at 60 after Hamilton hit a 3-pointer with 5:06 remaining. The Wildcats regained the lead at 62-60 after a Sparrow dunk.

looks like lillard will remain the 3 pt champion. though neith bam or dame played 4 seasons at weber both are amazing career shooters. bam would need to average almost 5 a game to surpass dame or if we can play 33 games this yr he would still need to average like 3.7 p/game at this point.

in the past 2 games both away games. bam has hit 8-of-12 from 3pt range. wow. he will go down as one of the all-time weber greats. had he been on our roster as a freshman he would own the school records for 3pt shooting. even in just 3 yrs he will be one of the best 3 pt shooters weber has ever seen. #1, #2 or #3 when he graduates.
