I can't help but think that firing the coaches now for having yet to overcome some systemic problem areas would be premature. I think they're building something viable here, and coaches like JH don't come along every day. We would be back to square one looking for someone like NB.
Yes, the mental errors are big and I thought the team played as though MT's OLine were insurmountable. But NAU surmounted them enough to win. We do need to hold the coaches accountable to making improvement leaps season to season, and note an improvement progression during the season. You need to get your concerns heard, as if you were attending a city council meeting. Take the mike and let us hear you.
I think what you need is to come to a Coach's Lunch at the Sketty Factory, get called on and express all your concerns to the coach and the attendees, which includes administration and monied supporters. Be prepared to cover your points like bullets (no rambling), but give the answers the coach has a fair hearing. Maybe you will wish to follow up his responses with more questions. Do it. Ask why and when. Maybe there's a progression timetable constraint we're not aware of yet. :twocents:
