Blown out tonight by NAIA school...

Not quite "blown out" - we lost by ten. All new faces, it'll take time to put them together. Freshman Kay picked up 26 points, a good shooter. What killed us were the rebounds. We're not a tall team. We shot .360 as a team - that's got to improve. Go Viks!

And FYI - on the roster we have 5 freshmen and 6 sophs. a young team, and none of them have played together before. And two of the sophs are benched this year by transfer rules. One of them is 6'2", one is 5'11". As I said, rebounding is going to be a problem.

All I have to say is Kennedy has to limit some girls' playing time and give some other girls a shot....

James = 2 TO's -- 0 Assists -- 27 mins
McNair = 3 TO's -- 0 Assists -- 19 mins
Torres = 5 TO's -- 3 Assists -- 20 mins
Kay = 2 TO's -- 4 Assists -- 19 mins

Top 5 ball handlers...

Team TO's = 22
Team Assists = 11

Coach needs to make a change with whoever is handling the ball


Jurhar -- 21 mins = 4 rebounds
West -- 29 mins = 8 rebounds
Haley -- 25 mins = 11 rebounds

West and Haley are solid at the posts position and shouldn't have to lose minutes to Jurhar or Carline
Size doesn't matter when the smaller posts are out rebounding you!

Just want the girls to have fun on the court this year too, unlike last year
