Good article/video about college football ticket prices

Interesting article. I could be wrong but I believe at places like UW the students even have to pay for tickets, where at EWU and probably most other Big Sky schools the students probably get in for free. And on a side note it appears a lot of Griz fans are butt hurt that they'd have to donate to EWU if they want to buy tickets to the game early. I don't get what the problem is. As an Eagle fan I had no problem with a little extra donation to guarentee my tickets.

glad you feel that way, I feel the same. besides, it's not that they can't buy tickets, they just can't buy them, before sept 1st. give me a break. they're SURE this was done just to spite them, yet this policy was put in place last year when Montana wasn't even a home game.

Of course they do. They think everything we do is a jab at them. Most Griz fans think this policy was put in place to pay for the new field - even though everything related to it clearly states "funded 100% from private donations."

Nobody ever said they were the brightest bunch of folks.

And seriously, most Eastern fans/students don't know how good they have it. Most other Big Sky Schools charge for their students to get in to games (including Montana). I could see this happening in the future if ticket demand goes up like I think it will in the next 5 or so years once we've made it into the play-offs a few more times and have made more stadium improvements.
