Good Day to be a Bengal

Women get a good road win at Utah Valley, which is always a tough place to play, and the men beat a talented Cal-Northridge at Reed Gym. The women have now won five in a row headed into the conference opener against Weber State Saturday afternoon. The men got terrific games from Ali Faruq-Bey and Ethan Telfair, and are now on their own little two-game win streak headed to Ogden Saturday night. Fun day for Bengal fans.

Considering the loss of two starters for the year and the difficulty in the non-conference schedule, to be sitting at 7-4 heading into the Weber State game is pretty remarkable.

Says a lot about the coaching staff and the players. Lots of talent still on the team with a lot of grit too. And don't overlook the fact that they are now rebounding as a team like demons. The starting guards yesterday at Utah Valley had 21 rebounds between them!

Will be an interesting game Saturday with Weber State. They don't score a lot but have a very good defense.

Would encourage fans to come out and support these kids who are playing well and playing with passion. Tip time is 2PM at Reed Gym.
