This isn't just a good story this is a great story.
As I have stated before, O'Brien has fell on his sword this year--he has been humble and he has really owned up to some of his shortcomings. While some folks will bitch and moan that he should have done these things earlier in the season, I only see it as a maturity that can lead this program to new heights.
I like and support Coach O'Brien and the fact that he is growing still as a coach is very exciting stuff. Now Idaho State needs to do the right thing and get this guy under contract. In the meantime, I hope OB makes as much improvement as he can to the non conference portion of the Bengal basketball schedule for next year and the years to come. Play money games, but be smart about them!
