I was wondering what ya'all thought of the student section having GINORMOUS Fly swatters for the Sac State game? It would be a pretty awesome sight at basketball games every time Joel Bolomboy got a blocked shot. It could be very intimidating when used in conjunction with the "You Got Swatted" chant. This image might be a "tad" overkill for our purposes especially considering the logistics of getting them in the D E C but, you get a visual here...

That would be fun to see. Anything and any/all involvement by the students is a plus.

It would be fun to see, but the first step is getting them to come out in sub-70 degree weather. And on top of that, keeping them for the second half when the temp dips below 60. There are hundreds of ideas floating around from the die-hard fans, but the students haven't bought into the athletics program like other universities. If our football team showed us a little more success, then we might have more than 2 dozen fans at the games with snow.

If we don't win tomorrow, the kilt will be reserved for the successful teams and those showing hope. Sorry women's volleyball, you didn't make the cut. Girls basketball will be acknowledged once Ord is gone. Men's Bball and Club Hockey are on top of their game and will be graced with the presence of the purple and white plaid.

I can count on one hand the number of fb & mbb games I've missed in the past 20+ years and it's a funny thing with the snow games: they always seem to be televised games. I'm not saying if they weren't that Weber would have much greater attendance because the fact is that student support has been disappointing, at best, and for a long time. I'm just noting an observation and always hoping for better for my teams, school.
