PSU was informed today by the NCAA that since we beat a D1A team and MSU lost to D-2 team if we win the rest of our games we get the at larg over them even thou they beat us something about the power rankings. More info will be available from the football department soon. This is no Joke.
GO VIKES!

I'm not sure the statement makes any sense, since there is no guaranteed at large entry for the BSC, you would be competing against teams across the country, not just MSU.

My understanding is that the GPI ranking is the best estimate of who gets the at-large, and PSU probably has a higher GPI after last week than MSU, partially due to MSU loss to a D-II (although they also beat a I-A). A good showing against Oregon would certainly help your case. Here is a couple ranking sites you might want to keep an eye on for post-season possibilities:

The only thing that the Vikings can control is how they play on each saturday. By not showing up in Bozeman they have definitely placed themselves in a tough spot. If they are to have any chance in the post-season they must win on saturday. That can be their only focus.
