Great Opportunity

WILDCAT

With the NBA most likely not going to happen this year, this is a great opportunity for Weber State to get out there and start advertising, something like this...

NO JAZZ?
NO PROBLEM

Advertise and get people to come to the games, this could be a great year for attendance if the Jazz end up not playing. Weber needs to take advantage of this.

No Jazz? No Problem, Come watch the Wildcats as they look to reclaim the Big Sky Conference title.

I hope athletics and the new kids on the SAA/Purple Pak board take advantage of this.

I can see athletics doing something about this, but really Skills? you think the board will do anything. You and I know both that that is a thing that wont happen.

Since you fly and skills are both former board members, maybe you should be doing more to mentor and guide the new board. I think the basketball chair is pretty excited about his position, but from the sounds of things, there isn't a lot of support from the other board members, and very little confidence from former members. Attitude!! Lets be positive and willing to help. No the new Advisor isn't Bev, but she is doing a good job and trying. This is her first year, she is figuring things out. She is really someone who will provide the board with the needed direction, yet, still give the board and chairs their autonomy. She isn't the one to force the Chairs need to act. They have to do it, and if they don't have anyone willing to help, then they can't do a lot. 10 students passing out flyers, putting up signs, and pushing the Cats can create 20 more super fans like ourselves who will inturn do what we have been doing and could create 50...little by little folks. Lets be positive.

As for Athletics...I'm sorry. I'm still not convinced. They have to prove it to me, but they are doing better. Come on Interns, and Ron, make us proud.
