It didn’t end how we wanted it to but still a great season. We got over the semifinal hump and got back to the chipper. I don’t know how many teams could lose the best QB in the FCS as well as multiple other starters on D and still make it back to the national final. That competitive depth really showed up in the second half of the season. We’ll be back.

Well stated Ranger. I am super proud of these guys. I wish all of the seniors the best in their future.
 
I'm very proud of how they played this year as well. Always knew it would be a daunting task to knock off NDSU and they gave it their all and weren't that far off. Thanks seniors for all your hard work, and to everyone else I hope they use this loss as motivation coming back next year. It should be another fun one!
 
Yup. Agreed . Great year. Very proud of these guys.

Not too many teams could have had as many knocks and still made it to the championship game.
 
We exceeded expectations, and will only be stronger for it with the experience and extra practice time.

While Talkington's fumble essentially killed our chances, he also put us in position before the half, and will only grow because of it. We have a lot of players back next year with playing time, and EBIII will be smarter and even more driven.

I am damn proud of this team and proud to be an Eagle. The depth of this team was phenomenal! We do lose a lot of seniors, but I am excited with the boatload of talent that we have returning next year.
 
Did not expect the chipper this year, great season they should be proud reppin' Washington and the Big Sky this year.

What a amazing year! One for the record books! Super pumped for all the depth we have and can't wait till next year!
 
This season was incredible. There were many great moments, including in the game today. EWU overcame adversity in this game as well, and it was still in question down to the final minutes of the 4th quarter. They did EWU and the FCS proud. They accomplished things this season that very few teams in the FCS ever have. And, they have a great foundation for the future.

I was supportive of Best as the choice for HC, but thought it would take a while to see this team rise back to the top. But I'm definitely convinced at this point he has what it takes to elevate this team further. EKG!
 
Just got back from Frisco! What an awesome year!! We represented Eastern and the Big Sky very well. All of the NDSU fans that I encountered were very complimentary and had nothing but great things to say about our Eags.
