they will have won 20 straight big sky conference games. griz currently have 9 straight big sky road wins. their last loss was in ogden feb 14, 2012. they need 14 straight big sky road wins to break the sky record we own for big sky road wins record.

we own the big sky record for home, road, and overall wins and the same for ooc and/or big sky combined

wsu and big sky records
*Longest Winning streak: 18 straight games and 24 straight conference games
*Longest Road winning streak: 13 conference games 1968-70 & 8 total road wins 1969
*Only Big Sky team to go 8-0 on the road in conference play was WSU in 2009

games of any kind, we have the record of 8 straight road wins and 18 straight wins of any kind.

griz next 5 road games:

Jan 31 @ Portland State Portland, OR 8:30 PM
Feb 2 @ Eastern Washington Cheney, CA 7:00 PM
Feb 14 @ Weber State Ogden, UT 7:00 PM
Feb 16 @ Idaho State Pocatello, ID 7:00 PM
Mar 2 @ Montana State Bozeman, MT 7:00 PM

griz to get to 25 straight conf wins:

Jan 19 Montana State Missoula, MT 7:00 PM
Jan 24 Idaho State Missoula, MT 7:00 PM
Jan 26 Weber State Missoula, MT 7:00 PM
Jan 31 @ Portland State Portland, OR 8:30 PM
Feb 2 @ Eastern Washington Cheney, CA 7:00 PM

amazing run the griz are on...

It'll be interesting which teams will show up to play the Grizz. PSU has the potential, especially on their court to beat the Grizz, but since their game against the Cats in late December, PSU hasn't been very good. We all know how good Eastern is. So...I'm thinking it is safe to say, UM should be getting that record.

As a Cat fan though, we can take Solace in the fact that Weber earned their records against far better competition. UM has gotten theirs against a sub-par Sky devoid of Idaho, Boise, and Nevada.

since the big sky tourney games from last yr do not count, the record of 24 wins is big sky regular season, griz need just one more to break the big sky record. they will have 25 straight after being UND at home on saturday.

amazing run they are on, YIKEs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

including the conf tourney they already have 26 straight wins against big sky teams rightnow.

Pretty sweet for the Griz. They can break the record tonight with a win against UND. As a Cat, I hope the Sioux show up but in all likelihood I'm pretty sure the Grizz will dispatch them fairly handily. Yet, the Sioux are playing well right now. They beat the Bobs in Boze on Thursday, something I wish Weber would have done. Could end up being a pretty good game.
