We've been very fortunate to land the athletes we have at EWU in recent years, but just imagine (and it's scary to think) how much better we could be if we actually put $$ into a real stadium and locker room to match this and win even more recruiting battles. EWU would be the class of the FCS, on and off the field.

My mind immediately begins to think about how we could actually compete with our in-state teams, both on the field and in terms of drawing fans out to games. I think the profile would rise to the point where you would start seeing EWU gear in the gas stations next to WSU, UW, and Gonzaga items. That always irks me :lol:

That'll get UM playing better. It's almost the equivalent to an eastside expansion at EWU.
 
Stadium champions! Ive got the Fiz losing two more games to either NAU or Weebs and on the road to the Cats to finish 7-4. They get a low playoff seed and start first round on the road due to week schedule. Having the great facilities is nice but you have to match it with your play on the field. Unlike the Eags the Fiz lack that IT factor.

That is when the Griz fans start with the "more revenue" line. They are convinced they can essentially buy a game... win is another matter!

They may play in the first round but they griz will never play a road game in the first round, it’s all about bidding and they put the rest of the FCS to shame....
