Gueller is Ready

I believe Tanner Gueller is ready for the position. I seen him on Saturday taking control and trying to get on the same page as the receivers. We did not see that last year from both QB's.. By the looks of the defense this is a very talented group I have seen in 5 years. With a good defense, good RB's this will make Gueller's job a little easier.

I believe with a tough schedule, we can still have a great season like 2014.

I feel the same way. My instincts tell me it's going to be a good year for us. I can hardly wait for the first game. Great news about Gueller. I know the coach believes in him. Let's get these positive vibes flowing.

I know everyone is excited about the team and the upcoming season including me but the reality is we are not expected to do well in the Big Sky according to the media and coaches pre season polls. Every year there is excitement in the air at the beginning of the season which is a good thing.

It doesn't matter what everyone else tells you what you're expected to be UFTC. Look at the ISU men's basketball team last year. They were picked last by over 40 points and 248 out of 251 teams i think. They had a great season. And nobody expected the 2014 footall season. We will surprise people this year. Ring voted a bottom dweller gives us the surprise attack!
The different running style this year, the plays that have been designed for the inside receiving routes, the flip passes and option plays are very fun and tricky to defend. It's going to be a lot of fun to watch.

Can we please enjoy the excitement. RIGHT NOW!! Why would any fan want to start out negative? And what's the need to get negative anyway. What good does negativity do?

I totally agree with you. I'm glad you're on this forum and contributing here. Thanks!

Definitely excitement at the beginning of every year. Veteran players coming back stronger and new recruits that look promising. It's what happens with all football programs, but I feel there is a difference this year and the freshmen that have arrived are very hungry. The vets are also gelling much better as a unit and mentoring the younger classmen.

It may take a this year and next to get things sorted and the train full steam, but we have the ingredients to make this team a serious threat against any opponent in the coming years. There are weapons on both sides of the ball that have been underestimated with this new unit. I believe Kramer can see this and has him excited for the future of this team. Looking forward to this season and I'm happy to be a fan supporting ISU.

I don't think up for the challenge was being negative, he's just stating what the rest of the league thinks about our chances. It's up to our team to prove them all wrong. He's as big of a fan of the Bengals of anyone on here. :thumb:

This is what I would call the REALITY of this team right now. The reality does include what others say about the team, but it's only their opinion and the reality will work itself out. Reality......thank you for expressing your thoughts as they are the same I have. I'm glad to hear Kramer is excited too I have a feeling the team is really excited. Also a part of the reality. Go Bengals!!!

Wow!!! What a great article by Williams. He is definitely a leader and good writer. Everyone should read this article. Williams talks about this years team, and what he calls a feeling of brotherhood. Williams points out that this is a key ingrediant to be a "special" team.
