You guys have a squad and deserved that game. Good luck this year.

Thanks. Hopefully we showed a few people in the Seattle area that we play a pretty good brand of football in the Big Sky, and maybe won a few more fans over as well. Just tell your guys we aren't "Division II", please? ;)

well that wasnt expected. You guys played a lot better than I expected and have a good team. Not sure if you are really good, or if we really suck, consider me greatly concerned for next week and the rest of the year. Good luck and I rooted for you last year in your league and will do so again.

Steve Kelly has a post-game article in the Seattle Times saying that UW definitely has lesser opponents on its schedule this year than EWU. I'm not surprised that EWU played well enough to win-- they'd probably be competitive enough in the PAC-12 to be in a bowl game hunt this year. I'll probably be checking the scoreboard this year expecting EWU to challenge for another NC. Best wishes for your season.

gotta clean up the mental errors but this team has nothing to be ashamed about. played their hearts out and almost won the game. Mitchell was incredible. I think a few people's eyes were opened in montlake today.

Can't admit you were just flat out wrong, huh?

Heard the Husky players were acting all tough upon arrival to the stadium, trying the tough guy intimidation bump and stuff like that. Also heard it was really quiet in their locker room afterwards with Sark trying to get them to keep their collective heads up. They know who the better team was yesterday.

I will say that the fans I encountered after the game were class acts, giving EWU all the credit they deserved...

Dozy;
Agreed the Husky fans were very humble in victory. We received many compliments on the teams effort between their HUGE sighs of relief.
