I just heard a commentary from college football analyst Joel Klatt

he said with the college rules allowing offensive lineman to block DOWNFIELD 3 yards on any play it is a HUGE advantage for teams that have RPO offense (Run/pass/option) because the defensive secondary CANNOT get a run/pass read. So defenses really need to ONLY be judged on what they do in the redzone. this was on a dialogue on the skip bayless and Shannon sharpe show. they were talking about how Alabama defense is not so great cuz Nick Saban coaches DB's and they have given up big yards to Clemson etc etc. I thought that was great commentary. it made me think of our game vs WOU where they had a RPO on every play. yes we gave up some overall yardage on defense but we were GREAT in redzone defense. GO BENGALS
