Pretty standard fare from an Oregon fan. Whatever your parents paid for that Oregon edu-ma-cashon ought to be refunded. Congrats on your many successes!

This is so great. Sounds like a random super fan who never attended college. It's like our version of the WSU superfans who rock the red and crimson all over their house and lawn but have no affiliation whatsoever...

This post is perfect! Having just ordered tickets to attend the game Eugene this just helps in the preparation process of whats to come in Eugene! Living here in the Seattle area I have heard numerous stories from my Husky friends about how bad the Duck fans are. I had chalked it up to being a rival game or or just a run in with idiot drunk fan that you can find at any game with a large crowd. However reading stories about the Ducks being voted worst fans in the PAC-12 and one by a former UO player who said he was embarrassed by the behavior of their fans makes me wonder if the Ducks really are #1 (worst fans). Well I will find first hand in a couple of months!
 
So the Duck fans are the #1 worst fans. That is good to know. I thought it would be the Griz fans, but it's not even close.

I think it has been widely reported that the Griz fans are a moderate second to the Ducks in terrible fandom. Seriously though, at least Griz fans would have the decency to applaud a kid who blows out his ACL on their turf. I've personally witnessed Oregon fans booing an Arizona State player as he got helped off the field. They are THE WORST.

In all seriousness, I mostly respect Griz fans. They are knowledgeable and generally respectful in return. Sure, there's a few jagoffs in every fanbase, especially when the drinking turns heavy, but I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary among Griz fans visiting Cheney or in Missoula. That's not to say our relationship with the Griz is one of love and well-wishes, but there's nothing there beyond a good rivalry.

Oregon is routinely rated as one of the worst fanbases in the country. Pac-12 fans always cite Oregon as having a "problem" fanbase. They even published some material about a former Oregon player who went to a game post-graduation and said he was shocked at the behavior in the stands. We can expect to be hassled, cussed at, and spit on in Eugene.

Booing and jeering injured players and ultimately cheering for injuries is routine at Autzen.
 
Who is this clown slot?...He definitely doesn't represent the Oregon fan base, I can tell you that much for sure. I'm an EWU grad and a 14 year Spokane native, however I grew up in Southern Oregon going to Ducks games, so I'm a fan of both teams. I'm also a member on the 247 Oregon board and can tell you most Ducks fans are very complimentary of EWU and it's football team. Although I'm excited for the game, part of me is not looking forward to it because one of my favorite teams has too lose, plus VA playing againt EWU is gonna be weird (if he can pass math that is.)

I've been to quite a few college football stadiums across the country and haven't found a better place to watch a game then Autzen. For those of you that are going you won't regret it. The tailgaiting is great, the fans are friendly, and the atmosphere is electric.
 
Went to my first Griz/UEW game in Missoula in 2014. Great experience and atmosphere. Was expecting the worse since it was a rivalry game. Before during and after Griz fans were class acts all the way. Even after the game people were coming up to us to tell us the better team won.

Duck fans in the past have been known to throw objects such as batteries and dog crap at visting players as well as going up to family members of visting players and trash talk with vulgar language.
 
Growing up a UW fan I have gone to about a dozen games in Eugene, even pre Autzen. It wasn't until the Phil Knight era that they started coping an attitude and abusing visiting fans. With them, money brought arrogance and an excuse to get stupid drunk. I'll take UM and MSU fans anyday
 
You can find idiot fans in any fanbase, unfortunately it just comes with the territory when idiots and alcohol mix. But that doesn't mean that represents the majority of people, I've seen idiot UW fans, EWU fans, UO fans, WSU fans, etc. Admittedly, the UW and OSU games can get pretty chippy because of the rivalry, but that mainly comes from UW and and OSU's fans getting mad and going crazy because they can't beat UO and they hate it. Trust me when I tell you that EWU fans can go to Autzen and tailgate with just about anyone in a friendly manner.

Also Phil Knight's money has been coming into UO for a long time. Unfortunately a bunch of bandwagon fans came on board during the 2010 Rose Bowl games against Ohio State and then only got worse after the Auburn national title game. Most those fans were actually OSU/UW/Nor Cal converts or people who just never watched college football before and decided to jump on board without knowing how to act.
