Hero Sports Article

Gives a Bengals fan the goosebumps reading this! Woulda, coulda, shoulda against UC Davis. It is what it is... but it's really nice to hear a non-biased opinion give us credit for our success this season!

Nice article. I can tell you after seeing my Mustangs get their a@#'s kicked by Davis, losing a close one to them is no shame at all. Your team also had impressive wins against North Dakota and Idaho. Bengals also hung tough with a couple of FBS opponents. Is WSCU division 2? Scratching my head why they are on your schedule?

The results for both teams were closer to the beginning of the season. What scares me is the score of Bozeman game 49-42. The Cats have a good run stopping defense but you still hung 42 on them in Bozeman. Translate that to San Luis Obispo and things get a little squishy. We have all that we can handle. Defense has to show its true capability.

Cal Poly scored their last touchdown with 6 seconds remaining in Bozeman, so the final score is a little misleading. CP also had two fumbles, so the offense could/should have put up more than 42 on the Bobcat defense. The Mustang offense can put up points but the defense has struggled to say the least. It's possibly the worst Big Sky defense I've seen in the past four seasons.

This is going to be another Big Sky shootout and a heart-stopper similar to the Portland St. game. Man...I'm excited and pained at the same time. It seems like every week is this way.
