HERO spots review

I'm a little surprised they have Eastern at #7. I'm obviously a homer, but I struggle to see 6 teams better than Eastern on paper. They must be pretty concerned that Eastern opens up at 1-2 with losses to UW and Jax State.

Frankly, I think Eastern will be exceptional this year so long as the team can stay relatively healthy.

I think EB3 is under rated given his limited number of starts and I wonder if the Eagles are given credit for the number of 5th year seniors especially on the o-line.
It is commonly assumed we will lose to the Huskies and rightfully so but I can see it being a shootout at least until the 4th qtr. J state will be a tossup and Eagles run the table in conference.
Gawd I can't wait!!

I 100% agree, I think this year’s team wins it all. EB3 is going to have a monster year. This team will be either the 1 or 2 seed going into the playoffs. We match up with JMU in the title game.

Everyone is pointing out how crucial that road game is with Jax State. I think a lot of our success hinges on being able to go down to Alabama and beat them. If we do that, the rest of the season probably sets up nicely. Lose that one, and we're probably going to need to run the table to get home games in the playoffs. It's not as though running the table in conference play is unthinkable, but it's so rare that anyone goes through the conference without a loss that you can't take something like that for granted.

And again, it's so monstrously important in FCS ball to keep your starters on the field. A couple injuries can really change the outlook for a team.

I have looked at the last several games that I still have on DVR. I know I am still watching last years games.
I think we will have an even stronger bench and depth than last year, which is remarkable for FCS team.

Our Eags will go all the way next year as long as they stay healthy and our QB gets better every week! Next season is like any other, they will have to grind it out and improve every week!! Proud to be an EAG!!!! :D :D
